What is Community Nursing (RN)?

Community Nursing (often referred to as Community Nursing Care under the NDIS) is a support service provided by qualified nurses to help participants manage their health conditions in the comfort of their own home or community.

Community Nursing involves clinical and personal care delivered by a registered nurse (RN) or an enrolled nurse (EN). These services are especially important for people with complex health needs or chronic medical conditions.
